Nasim is a Ph.D. student at Monash University, developing a gut-on-a-chip system to uncover what goes down between the gut microbiome and tumor cells. Her background is in biomedical and tissue engineering, where she worked on 3D bioinks, cancer immunotherapy, and nanoparticle-based biosensors. Samin has a strong curiosity about the microscopic world, she is passionate about exploring biomedical applications, particularly the roles of microorganisms and cells in health and disease. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at Monash University, where her research focuses on engineering microbial communities to develop innovative gut microbiome therapies.
